SMS Jokes: How to Create a Screenshot of a Fake SMS Conversation?
The world is constantly evolving, and progress brings changes to our lives. The first iPhone was released back in 2007, and since then, smartphones have become an integral part of our existence. With the advent of smartphones, a new genre of humor emerged - SMS Jokes. You've probably seen humorous SMS exchanges with moms; they have become an everyday trend, entertaining us on the internet. Maybe you've even created your own funny dialogues and saved them as screenshots. So, how do you create a fake SMS conversation? It's simple: you are in the right place. You can craft a humorous SMS dialogue with our editor in just a few minutes.
Getting Started
First, get acquainted with our terms of use. If you agree, you can start creating your first SMS joke. Hopefully, you already have a script in mind, so the next step is to add all the messages to the fake SMS editor.
The editor interface is very straightforward. You will see a pulsating button (+) to begin on the screen. Click on it, and you will see four options:
- Add SMS from the first person;
- Add SMS from the second person;
- Add MMS (image) from the first person;
- Add MMS (image) from the second person;
Choose the option that fits your dialogue scenario. If you initiate the conversation, add a message from the first person. Our editor supports emojis. If you are using the editor on a desktop computer, use the following shortcuts to input emojis:
- Windows: Windows key + ; (semicolon)
- MacOS: FUNC key + F
As you can see, it's very simple, no more complicated than the calculator on your smartphone. What's next?
Customizing the Fake SMS Dialogue
By clicking on the selector at the top of the editor, you can choose an SMS skin for an iPhone or an Android smartphone. We use the latest standard interfaces that are identical to the real operating systems. Select the light or dark mode in the top right corner if you want to change the chat's color theme. Our editor will automatically switch to the chosen color scheme.
All static interactive elements in the editor activate upon clicking. On the editor screen, you will find three types of elements:
- Text Elements:
- SMS messages;
- Current time;
- Sent time (Android only)
- Name of the second person;
- Number of unread messages.
- Images:
- Avatar of the second person in the dialogue.
- Icons:
- Wi-Fi status;
- Mobile signal status;
- Battery charge status.
Icons have several positions; clicking on an icon cycles through its states. We recommend changing all interactive elements to make each SMS chat look unique as a real SMS conversation.
SMS and MMS Messages in a Fake Chat
All new messages you add can be either SMS or MMS. The difference is that MMS is a multimedia message - in this case, an image you can upload from your smartphone or computer gallery.
SMS and MMS are dynamic interactive elements in the editor. After adding them, you can delete them by clicking the cross icon next to the message. If you want to edit a message, click on it and make changes in the popup window.
